EKLEER and Festo Didactic Sign MoU to Explore Digital Vocational Training Initiatives in Africa
The collaboration will explore pilot vocational training centers and hybrid learning pathways for underserved and mobile-only learners.

EKLEER Co., Ltd. and Festo Didactic SE have signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore collaboration on pilot vocational training centers and digital learning initiatives in Africa.
The proposed initiative aims to support skills development and employability among young people who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET), as well as learners in underserved communities. Areas under consideration include a certified Household Electrician (HHE) Program and other vocational learning pathways aligned with applicable national accreditation standards.
Under the envisioned cooperation, Festo Didactic would contribute its expertise in vocational training, technical education content, learning methodologies, and the HHE Program. EKLEER would contribute its smart display and workstation solutions to help expand digital learning access for mobile-only and underserved learners.
The parties will also explore scalable hybrid and data-enabled learning models. Initial pilot opportunities may include Kenya, with the potential to engage relevant local institutions, implementation partners, development agencies, and public- and private-sector organizations.
The MoU reflects the parties’ shared intention to evaluate the feasibility and scalability of the cooperation model. Any specific pilot, funding, commercial arrangement, or implementation commitment will be subject to separate written agreements.
